Hey guys,
Today I am going to share some very valuable information with you, and don't worry, I won't be asking for a payment. In fact, if you read this entire blog, I am going to send you a very special gift. Generating solid traffic (Visitors) to your business is going to be your most important task day in, and day out. Solid Traffic is the life and blood of any business, whether it be online, or offline. The problem is, most business owners simply do not know how to attract new visitors, and in most cases they end up failing, and/or giving up.
Now there are millions of marketing strategies, methods and ideas that may offer some great results, but for the sake of this blog, and my precious time I will try to keep it as short as possible.
When I first got involved in online marketing I had no idea what "Lead Generation" Was, and I simply did not take the time to learn it, I figured all I really had to do was post my ads and everything would fall in place, but that was not the case. Promoting your links consistently is definitely a must in online marketing, but if you are not generating leads, than you will have a lot of work ahead of you. In most cases, this frustrates the average marketer and forces them to quit, but there are many who use this as a learning process in order to better their business.
Generating traffic is one thing, but having that traffic convert into leads is your main priority. Traffic is simply visitors that may pass by your site, stop by your physical business, but never purchase anything, whereas a lead is someone who shows a little more interest, request more information, subscribe to your list or newsletter, basically a prospect you can contact and build a business, and /or customer relationship with.
Here is a few great methods and resources to generate solid leads every single day into any business:
1. Social Media Marketing:
This the starting point for almost every new marketer simply because it so easy to generate traffic to your website, or affiliate offers, but there is an effective way, and a painstaking way which you will want to avoid as much as possible. You must keep in mind that social networks were designed for one purpose, and that is "Socializing!"
A.) Communication is your weapon, and the better you are at communicating with others the better your chances are of growing a huge following through your network of friends. If you are not communicating with the people in your social networks, do not expect them to click on your link and/or reach in their wallet to invest anything with you.
B.) "Never spam your Family and friends." This is the biggest mistake made by so many marketers in online marketing. This method is widely used by people who either lack the knowledge of online marketing, or those who don't have time to build a following on their own, so they piggyback off others success. This is a method you should avoid at all cost.
2. Classified Advertising:
This is where you will generate a ton of fresh, targeted traffic to your business every single day, if used properly. So many people search classifieds sites, daily looking for new opportunities, and by strategically posting your ads on these sites you can easily generate a lot of traffic, leads and sales on complete auto pilot.
Posting short, brief ads is a great way to generate solid leads to your business, but make sure to add enough information so that your viewers can have a clear picture in their minds of what they can expect by visiting your website or contacting you for more information. Try not to write huge paragraphs as this can turn people away from reading your ad, and this is bad seeing as we want our visitors to stick around. You can also try using interactive images that lead to your website or affiliate offers.
3. Video Marketing:
Video Marketing is by far one of the easiest, and most effective ways to generate a huge following. Videos create 3 things, "Know, Like and Trust." If you have been involved in marketing for a while this is pretty familiar to you, but if you are new to marketing then i suggest you start making videos asap, as this will be one of your main sources of traffic. Just think, a lot of people may never read this blog, some just don't have the time, and others don't have the patience, but videos create a lot more trust than a bunch of text.
With videos you can easily create tutorials, training courses, walk through videos, infomercials, proof videos etc. Most people want to know you are a real person, and not just some actor. Creating 3 - 5 videos weekly can dramatically increase the views your channel receives, and this means target visitors, plus free organic traffic 24/7, but this alone won't get the job done. In order to make your video go viral you will need a few things, but for now I will share (in my opinion) the top 3 things.
A.) Optimizing your video is one of the most important task in making it go viral. S.E.O, or "Search Engine Optimization" is alive and well. Major search engines such as; Google, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo and now Facebook all recommend sites by the keyword in the search. Yeah, I know it may seem a little confusing for the new comers so I will try to explain what I mean. If you search Google for fishing equipment you may find millions of results all with the keyword "Fishing Equipment," and if you searched for "Fishing Equipment for Boats" you would get a list of different results based on the keywords "Fishing Equipment, and Boats." You will notice which keywords Google recommends simply because they are usually bold in color highlighting the word they chose to search for. Your title is the first place you will need to start, but make sure to add your keywords to in your video file when you upload it, add it in your video when editing it if possible, say it at least 3 times so the search engine can know what your video content is about place it in your description, and if you have time, try to write it in your transcript as well.
B.) Create a lot of organic back-links, which can take some time if you wish to master the art of back-linking.By placing your link to your video in blogs, articles, other videos, social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Squido, Linkedin, IboToolbox and other free platforms can generate a ton of viewers, and increase your rank in the search engines as these sites receive a lot of daily traffic.
C. The YouTube "Share" button is my best friend, and soon it will be yours as well. Why do I say this? Simple, the more people that share your video, the wider your audience will become, but the best part is, when you have hundreds or even thousands of people sharing your content everyday your subscriber list and income both grow. There is a few ways to get shares to your YouTube channel, but if you ask me I believe your content should speak for itself. The better your content the more eager others are to share it.

Yes, you can generate a huge following, and make a lot of money simply giving away freebies. As crazy as it sound, the word "Free" has a very appealing effect on people, I mean let's face it, if someone offered you something of value for free, you would more than likely accept it correct? Well, this is happening as we speak. This method is so effective I have been earning a full time income by simply sharing my knowledge with others. If you can help other marketers solve a problem in their business, then they will come to you for advice almost every time.
The saying "Content is King" is so very true, because if you have great content, then you will easily gain a following. Creating new content for your readers and subscribers is very important as there is always new methods, strategies, ventures and opportunities to benefit from, and keeping you visitors happy is your main goal.
